Welcome to Roosevelt Judo!
The Roosevelt High School Judo club is dedicated to having fun and furthering the Olympic sport of Judo in Seattle.Mr
Masaoka, who holds a brown belt in Judo and has studied in other
martial arts like Kendo and Tai Chi, is the club advisor.
Judo Practice
The RHS Judo club members practice in the evenings at the two great judo clubs in the Seattle area. Roosevelt Judo club members compete in sanctioned Judo matches throughout the year, including the Pacific Northwest High School championships held each year in May. The championships are WIAA sanctioned and bring togetherJunior and Senior high school judo clubs from around the northwest.

Washington Games
The Budokan Judo club puts on a great tournament every year and last year was no exception. A great time was had by all.
PNW High School Judo championships
The Pacific Northwest high school Judo champtionships are held every year in May.
